1st June 2010 - Mad Cobra Out of Hospital and Recovering at Home.

Jamaican reggae star Mad Cobra, real name Ewart Everton Brown, is recovering at home after being shot three times in his upper body. The shooting, on the night of May 11th 2010, comes only a day after the fatal shooting of the popular Jamaican singer O'Neil Edwards.

Reports indicate that Cobra was shot whilst trying to appease a group of men that had become angered with him and his companions, after they had shined a torch out of their car at them.

Mad Cobra came to prominence in the early 1990s with hits such as 'Yush' and 'Flex', working with producers such as Donovan Germain and Captain Sinbad. He subsequently signed a deal in America with Columbia Records and scored top 20 U.S. Billboard hits.
